The development of each product is followed by a team of qualified technicians who evaluate every technical aspect and quality of our wheels. At URSUS our wheels are carefully studied. From each component of the hub to the assembly of the wheel. For control and testing of prototypes, URSUS has prepared a laboratory test with a great number of machines necessary to evaluate the wheel parameters according to the most stringent European standards. The machine tests continue for several days before the wheel can be delivered to our prototype tester for road tests in all conditions of use. CARE IN THE PRODUCTION OF EACH WHEEL.
Total care in the production of each wheel is raised to the highest level. Each wheel is assembled by hand by specialised operators who systematically keep control all the basic parameters for the proper function of each product. Our production standards are extremely high. Because the wheels are maintained within very narrow tolerances. The radial slip must remain within 0.50mm and the lateral heel must remain within 0.30mm. The tension of the wheel is controlled on each beam through accurate tools and is carried out within a predetermined range defined by laboratory testing of prototypes and road tests. In order to maintain these high standards each operator is trained and sensitised so as to make him aware of his effect on total quality of each product they turn out.
